gutshot on raggy flop. silly move?

50 left, 40 paid in 4k grntee. i have T8510 and am on the button with: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Blinds are 300/600/a75.

Preflop, utg folds, utg+1 limps, 3 folds, mp1 limps, fold to me on button and i limp. blinds limp and check through.

flop is 4 5 8 with 1 heart. UTG+1 min bets 600, MP1 calls, hero raises to 3000.

i had a decent stack, but i needed to make a move so the blinds wouldnt eat me up. should i have just pushed, folded, or called?
