Default I think this line might work OOP vs passive opponent ?

Ok, nothing sienctific but I did try it a few times 20 at least an it worked at least 15 times out of 20... I'm out of position, I capped or 3 betted preflop and the guys in the pot aren't over agressive 1.4 and lower

What do you think of that kind of move ? It might be silly or maybe not ? I know it should not work vs observing opponents but I just joined the table 2 orbits ago... So I'm pretty unknown

I think you are very likely to give a free card on the turn with the best hand.

But if they are passive enough to check a pair, maybe it's not so bad. What is your plan on a blank river?
(I assume you bet any A or K)

Unlikely I have the best hand here with a raiser, a 3-bettor, a cold caller. There is definitively a pocket out there...

The cold caller just limped in preflop and then called 3 more. He could probably have any two cards and he folded on the flop. I think there is some chance that the raiser and 3-bettor both have high cards instead of a pair. If they have a pair they would often bet the turn since they are afraid to give a free card in this large pot.

Perhaps this line is good against passive opponents, but it looks strange to me.

You check/raise the flop OOP to get to see the river cheaper?

They don't 3-bet the flop and/or bet the turn often enough for it to actually cost more to see the river card?

Are you check/folding a blank river?

I capped preflop , I checkraised a ragged flop and I'm now checking the turn with another ragged turn card. Don't you think that someone with TT/JJ might be afraid of another checkraise ? I'm not sure here.. That's why I'M here . I'm wondering if it could work more than 50% of the time vs somewhat passive opponents...
