Does anybody lay this down?
10+1 Party SNG
1st round I'm in middle position with about 700. Villian (I have no info on him) is to my right with about 770. Five people limp and BB checks. I have (7h, 7s). Flop comes (6d 7d 8c). Checked to villian who bets (40). I raise the size of the pot (120). Villain calls. Turn card (3s) Villain goes all in. Does anybody fold here? |

Re: Does anybody lay this down?
What you mean to say is you call here. I think you often have the best hand here. If you ever have the best hand, calling has to be correct because you have reasonable equity even if you're beat. I mean, it's a 10+1! There's a wide range of hands that the average 10+1 player could have that aren't straights.

Re: Does anybody lay this down?
The reason I said "Does anyone fold here?" (instead of call) is because I was implying that most will call here, but I was just wondering if anybody would make what would have been a very good laydown in this situation.

Re: Does anybody lay this down?
And we're simply stating that they shouldn't and neither should you. You're being results oriented.

Re: Does anybody lay this down?
I think it would be a horrible lay down in that situation.
