Pokerstars WSOP
I thought I read somewhere (can not find it now) that Pokerstars is sending 1100 players to the Main Event. Can that possibly be true? I do not play at Pokersars so do not know how aggressive they have been in promoting the event

[ QUOTE ] 1116. [/ QUOTE ] PokerStars is sending so many people, they might as well start their own WSOP. |

Re: Pokerstars WSOP
They have been running $160 double-shootouts a few times each day -- say 3-4 so that's 100 per month right there. Plus they run one big tourney once a week with 10-20 seats. Plus they have sit & go shoot-outs that start whenever they fill 24 hours a day, plus they have all kinds of FPP tourney's and sats to the weekly tournament. Basically, it was going to happen based on the size of the membership, the popularity and accessibility of their sats.
