Trips on Flush Board
This is a $1+0.10 tournament on Bugsy's Club. Villain had gone allin with AJ on a J high flop (called by a donkey with J7), and min bet K6 on a KJ7 flop and reraised allin when reraised.
Blinds 100/200 with 25 ante Hero in the SB with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 folds Villain limps from button, Hero calls 100, BB checks. Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, BB checks, Villain bets 200, Hero calls, BB folds Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets 600, Villain raises 4500 to 5100. Re: Trips on Flush Board
That 200 flop bet convinces me he has no flush. I don't know why, but I think you're set is good and he's 4 to a flush at the moment.

That 200 flop bet convinces me he has no flush. I don't know why, but I think you're set is good and he's 4 to a flush at the moment. [/ QUOTE ] That's what I thought too. I thought the villain would do this with top pair. I expected to see K7 or a bare A or K of spades with nothing else. Hero pushes, Villain calls, shows A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I double up with the full house 4 hands later I bust villain when I flop a set of 5's and villain pushes the flop in front of me with AA. Finished 15th (of 282), managed to avoid bad beats until the end. |
