endgame
three people left
i am big stack on the button and push. SB calls, BB calls. i have them both covered, and BB has SB covered. only top two pay i knock them both out, do they split or does BB take the money. |

If more than one player busts out on a single hand, the one with more chips finshes in the higher position....so the BB get 2nd.

And if they have the same number of chips (e.g. first hand of the tourney. Or great coincidence. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) then it's the person with the ?worst position who wins, right?

If two players bust with the exact same chip count, I would think that the same rules apply as with a split pot with an odd chip: the person in earliest position gets the extra chip in that case. So I'd say that if the chip counts were the same, the SB would place over the BB. But in that situation in a "friendly" game with 3 players left and only 2 places to pay, I might offer a little token amount of money to the BB if I were the SB. But that's just me -- and I'd still have bragging rights over him! |
