Default Preflop..

I'm mainly concerned about preflop here.

UTG is very loose and he'll prolly call 2 if I 3-bet.

BB is very agressive and goes to showdown with any pair, also likely to call 3.
Button (PFR-er) is a very tight player, I put him on AK/AQ/KQ/pp that beats me.

So do you fold/call/3-bet?

Default Re: Preflop..

With your read of the button, folding seems obvious. You aren't going to get enough chips in to justify drawing to a set and without one you aren't even confident of your strength as an overpair.

In fact, in general I'd probably tend to fold with the other two reads (and in most default cases). 3-betting is I think the second best option in all cases, but only against very weak/tight oppoents and a loose raiser.
