Do you have a better read than maniac? (i.e. how light is the preflop 3-bet, the flop 3-bet, etc.) This doesn't look crazy at all.

Do you have 500 hands with villian or do you just have stats? If its the former I'd hope youd have a better read on his range here. Flop 3 bet is often fine with these numbers. I'm prepared to slow down on the turn. He almost certainly wont be able to resist betting a worse hand on this board so ill let him and I'm committed to showing down.

I like Bet/Call, and Bet/call to a blank river.

The worst thing in the world is to spew to a maniac. I check/call the turn and the river. Your mid-pair hand is marginal at best here, but you can be 95% sure he will bet at you. I think there are far more exploitable situations against lags (like when you hit top2 or a set and they have top pair)

Betting and raising is exactly what mr. lag wants you to do when he is ahead.

Agreed. Don't let it get checked through, but don't go nuts.

Bet-3bet turn for sure. If he caps you on the turn, then you can think about slowing down on the river. On a blank river J-2 I'd bet-call. Bet-3bet a Q/T river. Check-call an A/K river. Against a true maniac I'd bet-3bet any river.

Hmm based on this read I like bet/call better. There's not much you're behind here and if he has bottom 2 pair his hand just got forfeited. I hope you won this one.

What I've noticed is a lot of times these people think I'm putting a move on them so they play back at me. If he has it out for you, bet/call or even bet/3bet as jeffw suggested might be teh best option
