Default changing holdem limits for ring games

I play limit holdem at Pokerstars and I originally played NL holdem at the .10/.25 because I wanted to build my bankroll. I got two bad beats in the course of ten minutes and was down to $20 from $70. As a result, I started playing limit to minimize my swings and build my bankroll and so far I've moved up all the way to .50/1 holdem. When do y'all think the skill level of players in these ring games increases dramatically. I just doubled my $30 buy in within an hour and a half playin at this level. Should I move up or would my overall hourly rate be higher at this level?
Thanks,
Mario

can i be the first to say this is the multi-table tournament forum, try one of the forums under limit or pot limit/no limit.

Yes, move up immediately. Trust me, anybody in the Mid-High forum will be the first to tell you the 15-30 is a gold mine. You should be able to handle it no problem.

he's being sarcastic because he feels that he needs to make a mockery out of a poster that seems ever so clueless.

anyways no, it sounds like you have a major issue regarding bankroll management. rule of thumb is something like never risk more than 4~5% of ur BR in one wager...meaning you gotta have at least 20 buyins for w/e u play, 300big bets for limit (ex. if u play .5/1$, u need 300$ br)

nice place to boost your BR is to clear starluck/planetluck casino 100$ 100% match bonus via blackjack, flat betting 2$ playing perfect BJ according to the chart. buy your self copy of SSH /POKERTRACKER/ gametime+ and 4 table 2/4+
search 4 homer's Bankroll building for newbies on internet forum...

Yep, I was making a joke because everything that needed to be said about going to the proper forum was already posted. Also, I'm the first person to ever do this in the history of 2+2.

Yeah, bankroll management was awful but who among us started out with the perfect 300BBs in our first deposit? I'm guessing nobody. But as I said, this needs to go over to Micro or SS and it will be much more helpful over there. As would I had this post been over there...

To the OP, welcome to the forums, sorry for the joke, I thought it would be obvious that I was messing around. The SS forum is a good place overall, you'll like it there.
