Saturday picks, with a little analysis...

NY Mets ML at +125

I actually think the Mets should be favored in this one, seeing how badly Henn got beat up twice by the D-Rays. The Mets have considerably more offense. Glavine has been pretty terrible this year, especially on the road. However, Glavine's lifetime against the Yanks isn't nearly that bad, so I think he can outpitch Henn. I like the over too, but I'll take the dog on the ML that should be a favorite.

Tigers ML at +155

The D-backs aren't this dominant at home, and the Tigers aren't this bad on the road. Dbacks haven't been playing well lately, and the Tigers have been playing good ball. With Douglass making his first start of the season, the Dbacks should probably be favored, but not this heavily. I don't care what Vazquez did to the Tigers earlier this year--he isn't good enough to be a -170 with that lineup against any pitcher.

Milwaukee ML at +175

Similar to the previous game, Milwaukee shouldn't be this big of a dog at home. It's still before the All-Star break, which means Santana is actually beatable. Santana's been pretty nice on the road, but Ohka has pitched well for Milwaukee. Again, Milwaukee should be a dog, but not this big of a dog at home where they've played pretty well.

I like Mets and Brewers at these prices too. Seems like some edge there. I can't argue with your take on Az/Det but I typically lay off unknowns (Douglass) besides I had plenty of other action today.
