TPTK big pot 5/10 6m
Button was new to the table and UTG had TAGgish stats (26/14) and hadn't done anything remarkable. Anyone 3 bet preflop? What about this turn. Plan for the river if he caps or just calls?

Re: TPTK big pot 5/10 6m
I probably don't 3-bet the turn, as you're usually behind to UTG's JTs (22 isn't impossible but is very very doubtful). I can't think of much else he can have there. I frequently 3-bet preflop but I don't think it's imperative, like I feel it is with AQs.

UTG check cold called on the flop, and then raised when a total brick hit the turn. IMO he has at least 2-pair (JT) or worse a set and you are drawing very slim or even dead. The turn 3-bet is a spew IMO. I like a pf 3-bet here as well, but just calling is OK too IMO. |

Re: TPTK big pot 5/10 6m
the turn 3bet is a bit much.
Preflop is okay...sometimes I 3bet, but I think it's okay AJs plays well multiway and you are OOP. Surf |

Re: TPTK big pot 5/10 6m
Yeah looking at this now I hate the turn 3 bet. My thinking at the time was I was definitely in second place if not first, so the other two would pay for the times when I was behind. But there is no way he raises me on the turn with less than TPTK. Anyway he capped, everyone called, he bet the river blank, they both folded and I made a crying call to see JTs.
