Default the worst best fold I have ever made...

Sorry I don't have the hand history but here goes...

No reads on villians as I sat down recently.

Party NL50

Hero - 45
SB - 50
EP - has us both covered

EP makes it 3 preflop, and I call with 8-10 of clubs in MP. SB smooth calls and its 3 to the flop.

flop: 10-10-3 r

SB bets out 6. PFR smooth calls. I smooth call (thoughts?).

turn 9 completing rainbow.

SB bets out 20. PFR pushes putting us both all-in. I think and I think and I reluctantly muck.

I was pretty confident I had the PFR beat but the SB threw me off. Is this too weak/tight? does anyone else fold here?

Your preflop call was just plain bad.

I'm going to dicount the SB's hand as most people would tend to slowplay on this flop. Now is EP raising preflop with AT/KT....I think his play looks more like JJ-AA..so I call.

And folding trip tens after calling a raise with T8s just makes your preflop play look really really bad.

It sounds weak. You have 36 left behind and there's about 28 in the pot before his push, right? So you're getting about 7:4 to call.

Since the push is from preflop raiser there's a very reasonable chance he's got an overpair and thinks he's good. Sounds like maybe JJ relieved not to have seen an overcard yet.

Only the 4th T or 33 is ahead of you. I'd call.

Your preflop call is painfully bad.

This doesn't happen if you don't call preflop.

But, you did - so - on the flop raise, get some information, and see where you stand.

The preflop call was fairly brutal, but your postflop plan is worse.

On the flop this is a very easy call, not raise or fold.

alright enough about the preflop call. You have to mix it up, I had position and I figured he had a big pair he wouldn't be able to get away from.

Then again I made a monster and got spooked. SB showed JJ and PFR showed AA.

coulda been about 150 in my stack if I hadn't been such a pussy. I think the most important comment so far was that if the SB had a 10 he would check it. Anyway I played it poorly, you win some you lose some.

thanks for the comments.

told you so.

Remember who you are playing against, no one at these tables can lay down an overpair, EVER.
