GSIH Strategy - Big Blind ?
I've been trying out Ed Miller's GSIH Short-stack NL Strategy. It's been fairly effective if I stay patient... very patient.
An interesting hand came up while I was on the BB tonight. I'd like to hear some advice on applying the short stack strategy in this and similar BB situations. The table had been fairly loose but nothing too crazy. No reliable reads on the players at the time. Sorry about the format, the converter doesn't work with the site I was on. Cleaned it up as much as I could. Sunset Boulevard 3451702-17612 Holdem No Limit $0.25/$0.50 MightyKC7 has 8c 7c PLYR A called $0.50 1 fold PLYR B called $0.50 4 Folds PLYR C called $0.25 MightyKC7 checked. Board cards [3d 3s 8d] PLYR C checked. MightyKC7 bet $2 <font color="red"> (I was a little confused on how to proceed. Considered all-in here, but was unsure. Fell back on "Bet the Pot" even though it's not in the Short-stack Strat.) </font> PLYR A called $2 PLYR B called $2 and raised $8 PLYR C called $10 and raised $0.83 and is All-in MightyKC7 folded. PLYR A folded. PLYR B called $0.83 Board cards [3d 3s 8d 8h 6h] Should I have just folded on the flop? All-in on the flop from my position seemed too risky. Ideas? |
