Default Help me rid me of my paranoia

The nightmare continues. 2,5 k hands, ideal loose passive conditions, couple of lags. Sound preflopp play, ala lee and miller. Excellent holdings rivertrashed numerously, sets to str8, even boats loosing on the river-you name it and I lost it. Net loss small, but still.
I multitable, and as soon two tables are up, another one is way down-keeping somekind of standstill on my cashflow. And everytime I lost to some freak miracle card I was dealt a good pocket afterwards, wich I too lost or made jackshit from. Loosing my cool and why is everyone out to get me!!!
Please tell me this is normal, and its because my game is getting better I`m not bust yet.

Maybe you're not cut out for poker?

If I had a nickel for every post like yours this year I would have...

$2.65.

Stick with it or try single tabling for awhile.

isn't 2,500 hands a rather small sample? I don't use pokertracker (I really should), but that seems to be the going wisdom...

evaluate your play more.. if you're making mistakes because you're flustered, take a break. otherwise ride it out.

2.5k hands is nothing I'm coming out of 15k like that. Stick with it and make sure you're keeping your game sharp.

It gets worse. Take a break if its affecting your play (and based on this post, I'd say it is). If you can't stay away from poker entirely, then donk around on some microlimit O8 or stud, or play a few tournaments.

Downswings happen. You can either deal with them or find another hobby.

Play less tables.

Also, play back your biggest losses and your biggest wins in poker tracker. This really helps. You will laugh out loud at some of your losses when you're not in the heat of the game and you have a chance to carefully consider what happened. Also some of your wins will make you cringe, they're so undeserved....

if not, and everything seems A-OK, just keep at it...
