Default 400nl- 99 spikes set OOP

*notice the stack sizes please, I have them covered by 2x

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) converter

UTG ($495)
MP ($392)
CO ($549)
Button ($382.5)
SB ($1170.4)
Hero ($832.7)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls $4, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $12</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls $8, UTG calls $8.

Flop: ($38) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, UTG calls $20, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $55, Hero raises $800.70 (All-In)</font>

Final Pot: $933.70

played that way

1) looks like i'm on a draw
2) any other raise would make it very ackward to play pot out of position.

I like it because 1) as you said looks like you're on a draw, and trying to take it away from his overpair.
2)if you just call and check raise a safe turn card, it makes it easy for him to get away from an overpair, and it prices the other guy in really well for whatever draw he is on.
3)like you said it just gets awkward if you make a smaller reraise here with the stack sizes, and you being OOP.
