Default Some bubble pushes from my first 55s... am I doing alright?

Moved up to the 55s with a prompt 15 buy-in downswing. Great.

Someone want to review my bubble pushes and see if I am doing alright with the expanded calling range of the 55s? People have been literally calling down with any two, is this normal for the 55s?

I am sure someone will say I am wrong, but I don't like this one.

1. You are the button, so you will get a another orbit to wait for a better hand.
2. You have little if any FE against the BB (seat 5?), who already has chips in the middle.
3. If I am BB, I am calling with a very very very wide range, because it reeeeeeeeeeks of desperation.

Sorry about your bad run.

Personally, I think this T6o hand is the second easiest push of the bunch, assuming the blinds have reasonable calling standards. I haven't run the numbers, but I'm confident that SGA will agree.

SGA doesn't account for BB seeing shorty push from button and smelling a push with any 2.

This might be a leak for me, but I'd rather have a moderately playable hand here, because I expect to be called quite a bit.

I'd definitely like to get opinions on these also. Here's what I'd say:

T6: yes
Q7: yes unless mediocre-bad image
J5: yes unless BB is one with 6K
QJ: seems good
QT: same as QJ
K9: not a big fan unless blinds going up
A9: push
A7: close, probably would fold
J2: definitely push

probably wouldn't push this unless the blinds were going up before they hit me either, you will have other chances with better position and probably some better hands.

Everything else looks pretty good to me

Your FE (along with 1/3 of your stack) is going to be gone in the next two hands. Gotta push here. All things considered, QJs is not a bad hand at all to have in that spot.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you push here with any 2 then? If not, approximately what range of hands? I wouldn't push here with any two, and I'm not so sure about the QJs even. I don't think that a stack of 640 has no FE. People fold to ~3BB all-ins all the time, even with big stacks, and they're also often correct to do so. He certainly loses a lot of his FE, but not nearly all of it.

Also, with a little bit of luck (depends on the aggressiveness of the table, which I think is a major factor in deciding his range of pushing hands here, UTG) he can push any two from the SB, or from BB against a weak complete from SB and or (a few) late limper(s). I'd be much happier doing that than pushing anything worse than AQ/99 or something like that UTG. Of course, the more aggressive preflop the players are, the looser my pushing standards UTG. And yeah, if the blinds were going up in the next hand, then I'd push 23o.

Dunno, maybe I'm too afraid of stealing against so many opponents, and QJs is a better hand than I think here. These are just feelings based on my experience, I haven't done or seen any calculations concerning pushing against so many opponents.
