34s bluffing from the SB
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is SB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $5. 5 folds, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks. Almost folded. Close? Flop: (3 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets, Hero raises Poster felt like he must bet. I decided to take advantage of bet-when-checked-to syndrome. I thought the check raise would get any non- A or J hand to fold here. How often does Poster need to fold here to make this profitabel? Even if he does not I have 9 flush outs. Anyone try this without any outs? |

Re: 34s bluffing from the SB
I would not try this w/o outs unless I had a sick read and almost godlike control over my opponents. Even w/ your outs I prefer just calling and let the BB come along.

Re: 34s bluffing from the SB
I'm raising this PF. You have a CO who has a random hand that's not good enough for a steal-raise and a BB.
Since you didn't raise...the pot's too small to take chances for. It would really suck to have it come back to you for 3-bets HU. Just call and see the turn. |
