Re: Pokertracker question
There are a plethora of playing styles in NL that are profitable. Just pick one that you feel comfortable playing.

Re: Pokertracker question
I was a pretty consistent big winner at 17/7 in lower-stakes 6-max games (mostly 2/4). I've loosened up to about 23/7 now, but it's definitely possible to win playing really tight, at least at low- and mid-stakes.

Re: Pokertracker question
I don't think it's too tight at all. Right now I'm 21/9 and I feel I'm playing somewhat loose. The numbers don't really mean that much. It's how you play after the flop that's important. What the numbers do tell me is that you likely have similar pre-flop standards as me, which should be a good start.

Re: Pokertracker question
There is no set answer to that question, it all depends on the individual game you are in. For this even to have sembelence of meaning specify 6 max or full ring, what level and what site.

Re: Pokertracker question
It's 6 max Party NL/PL 5/10. I've been beating this game for 5BB/100 hands so I know it's working, but I was just wondering how I compared to others with my pre-flop standards. I'm always looking to improve.

Re: Pokertracker question
If youre looking to improve find out what hands you are folding and read about how to play them on here, then start playing them.... Moving your vpip/pfr numbers around doesnt mean anything if you dont know why you are, and how to correctly

Re: Pokertracker question
I have another question: my first pokertracker database got full and i had to create another one, but in doing that i can't jointly access both databases and so the first one becomes basically useless. the first one got full after about 270,000 hands total. Anyone know how to either integrate the databases or somehow get around the problem of filling them up and then leaving them behind?
