Default So I limped 22 UTG...

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+2 calls, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls...

UTG+2 is LPP and is surely coming along for the ride. So I'm either getting 5-1 or around 4.33-1 if button caps.

What about this one?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls

And what kind of table PFR percent would make you dump these the first time around?

the first one is fine

the second one is ehh, unless you know there are some very loose players behind you .. I don't like it

as for table PFR%, its more of a function on how many ppl, if its 5-6 handed on ave it can be raised every hand, if its gonna be SH sometimes, I'd really like to see the flop for 1SB

and if its folded to you in MP1, to play it'd need to be a pretty passive preflop table, putting 2bets in HU OOP w/ 22 really blows

i would have folded both unless the table was pretty LP and you'd get 4+ people in the hand.

hand #1: if UTG is in, i'd call because you're sure to get a lot of action if you hit and make up for the expensive preflop call.

hnad #2: pretty much the same as hand #1.

what PFR %: ~40+ and how loose people are with their raises and coldcalls.

I think I fold the 2. one as your relative position suck and CO could easily drop, doesnŽt take a monster to overlimp a MP openlimper..

btw, dont openlimp in MP unless you have a good reason for it.

The first one IŽd probably call as UTG+2 comes along and he will pay off postflop, so your positional problems are less concerning than in the second.

I call #1 and fold #2 the first time around. I think I fold #2 the second time around as well but I haven't done the math.

I don't limp with those hands in this positions, but if I would have called, I would also call the reraises.

It's rarely the case that I would limp a pocket pair and fold before seeing a flop.

But I wouldn't limp 33 in the second hand in the first place.

I would probably dump both of these unless I knew I would get a ton of action by hitting my set.

Oh yeah, don't limp in MP1 with 33.

The thing about hand 2 is, when its folded to you in MP1, you have to treat the situation like its preflop in a 6-Max game and you are UTG. In this situation, limping the small pocket pairs is not going to show a profit like limping small pocket pairs UTG in a full ring game would. Your implied odds are cut significantly and for this reason I would not play 33 here. Just think of MP1 as a raise or fold spot, and you'll be closer to how you should play starting hands in this position.

Hand 1 is OK.

yes it makes more sense after looking at it again. UTG limp, you have more people to possible limp in behind you, while 33 in MP, you have less of a chance...at least that's what i think is why you suggested what you did.
