Default Datamine and play at the same time?

Just curious if I can do this.

Here's how I plan to do it:

Running 20 tables, playing 8, running two instances of poker tracker, with the first open to the datamining DB and the second open to my regular DB. Datamining DB has one of the "dead" skins set as its import normal hands folder, so it won't import anything that I'm playing (other than what it "observes" me to play).

Another option:

Import into my regular DB, but configure observed to go into the observed DB, using one instance of PT.

This seems to be the correct method (#2).

I'm probably going to do this later tonight, so if someone would like to give me a pointer on how to do it, that would be awesome. I'm leaning to #2 at this time.

both should work, but #2 is a lot easier. the only pain is you can't see how many hands you've played or how you're doing because youre PT will probably be frozen while importing most of the time
