Please notice the poll starts at hand 9 for some reason. Not sure why.

This was in reference to the AK, the small pre-flop raise, then seeing a K,Q,J flop vs. several opponents. This looks like one of those cases that you know exactly how to play the hand but for some reason you get cute and it gets you in a bad spot. I do that some times with AA/KK/QQ in the early levels. For some stupid reason I limp from EP, see a flop vs 6 opponents, then proceed to lose 1/3 of my stack. I know it should not be done but there is some majic in the air that makes me click "Call 20" instead of raising. If you are having a bad run you need to concentrate real hard on playing the right way. Good luck.

Default Hand 3

To the people who check hand 3, what is your line if villian bets at you?

I feel a bet is mandatory to define your hand and you take down the pot a lot of the time.

Hand 3 - with the 10/10 in the big blind. I had almost the exact same scenario as you last night. After I called pre-flop, I realized the stack sizes were not right and I was going to have a real tough time playing the flop. You know an overcard is coming and you don't have enoghs chips to make a stab out of position. I would push or fold preflop, depending on the opponent. No reads, I probably push because I'm reckless.

Check-raising all-in is better than pushing IMO. You know he's going to bet, and you really don't want AK out of the pot here. The only better hand you possibly push out by taking the initiative is JJ.
