OFFICIAL SNG CHALLENGE ::: Maulik's 1000 SNGs in 11 days

Bam bam bam, here we go playas! 1k SNGs in 11 days, bang it.
I'll be playing the $30s day & night in hopes of building my confidence to play the $50s during the challenge or shortly therefater. I'll be 8 tabling. As rapt would say, "holla if you see me"

some of you asked for my use names:
"IHATEDEANS" & "MAUL9594"

I'm going to try to hit 17.5% roi. Play as many as you can and make some loot. Good luck to everyone who participates.

Good luck Maulik - take short breaks here and there - it'll keep you fresh. 1000 is definitely doable in a 11 days though.

And from my experience, it's futile to set an ROI goal for something like this. Play your best, and get what you get. Who knows hwo the cards will treat you this week.

How does a challenge become "Official." Do you have to file some paperwork with 2+2 or something? [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

So far I've managed to play 116 tournaments at the $33s during peak & nonpeak hours, today. My ROI was a meager 3.45% and I only Fin In The $ 31.90%.

I've been playing too aggressively on the bubble. So when I should have calmed my aggression down on the bubble I'd calm it down on the early levls on the bubble. I'm working on fixing this, as I slow myself down I become less aggressive.

At the onset of this 8 tabling was difficult, I think part of the reason I found myself being overly aggressive was a result of not thinking enough. I am getting much better.

I'm also becoming a little more compentent at picking my spots for pushing, raising, etc. This is very important in my quest to finish 1k SNGs w/ some decent return on time / investment and as I prepare my self for the $50s.

Reminder: low card straight draws are deceptive, so when you hit a flop that has flow cards, BET, take that pot down immediately when someone limps.

After talking to TheDegen for some time today, I've decided to only look at the number of tournaments played each day, that's all that of value. Wishing myself better luck tomorrow but accepting and being happy I'm up. =]
