Default [low-content] Party Poker is a wonderland.

The power went out earlier that evening. I thought to myself, I shouldn't enter an SNG. But I did, and then the power went out for good about three hands in. Damn, I think to myself. Chalk it up to a lesson learned. So I went to bed before I could kick myself too hard.

I wake up this morning and check my account. Taken to the Table: $22. Taken from the Table... wait a second. There shouldn't be a Taken From unless...

I email PP and ask them for the history; they almost immediately oblige. Scan scan scan to the bottom, and...

BB turns over QJ for trips on the turn, a straight on the river.

Button turns over... K6o.

Summary: The power goes out and I make $60.

(Ariel, listen to me. The human world, it's a mess.
Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there.)

The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?

Under the sea, under the sea
Darling it's better down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we're devoting full time to floating
Under the sea, ha ha...

Down here all the fish is happy
As after the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain't happy
They sad 'cause they in the bowl!
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry
Guess who goin' be on the plate?

Wo-no, under the sea
Under the sea
Nobody beat us, fry us and eat us
In frickazee
We what the land folks loves to cook
Under the sea we off the hook
We've got no troubles, life is the bubbles
Under the sea (under the sea)
Under the sea (under the sea)
Since life is sweet here, we got the beat here
Naturally (naturally-ee-ee-ee)
Even the sturgeon and the ray
They get the urge and start to play
We've got the spirit, you've got to hear it
Under the sea

The newt play the flute
The carp play the harp
The (??) play the bass and they soundin' sharp
The bass play the brass
The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul (yeah)
The ray, he can play the Ling's on the strings
(???)
The blackfish sings
The Stout and the Sprat
They know where it's at
And oh, that blowfish blow!

Yeah, under the sea
Under the sea
When the sardine begin to beguine
It's music to me (music is to me)
What do they got, a lot of sand?
We've got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here know how to jam here
Under the sea
Each little slug here gutting a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter under the water
Yeah, we in luck here down in the muck here
Under the sea

This morning in a SNG it was something like this

100-200 blinds

Hero (UTG) = 600
BUTTON = 1200
SB = 4800
BB = 1400

I fold my trash. Button goes all in, SB calls, BB goes all in and SB calls.

Button = Q9o
SB = AQo
BB = 77

SB wins the hand and I get 2nd

Yeah I had an 10+1 where my AKs got stomped on by A3 so I was down to 450 chips early on in the game. I felt hungry so I figured I'd make breakfast and be back in time for L4, where I planned to steal like crazy. I came back ten minutes later and it said I won 2nd. Apparently when it was 4 handed there were two 3-way all-in showdowns in a row, and all the while I only had 300 chips.

The best part of it was that the SB folded to me in the BB twice. Maybe he figured that I was going to make a stand with any two?

Bizarre.
