Default A hand, and a fun hand.

This is a hand from awhile back. I'm bringing it up after reading miles' post about "if you never folded a flush draw, you wouldn't be making much a mistake." I agree with him, but I felt this was a situation where folding might be better than calling.

Both villains were unknown at the time.

Flop: (4 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, Hero...

This is for my/your amusement, since I'm in the middle of a breakeven stretch. I call it "pay the rake." Ironically Villain's stats were 50/4/.5 after a few hundred hands. He got a little tired of not raising

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (5 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

River: (11.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 19.50 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Ac Ks (straight, ace high).
CO has 8h 9h (straight, queen high).
Outcome: Hero wins 19.50 BB. </font>

Yeah, I figure even on an unpaired board it's thin at 7.5:2. Here, with the JJT flop...

/ yeah definitely

4 players in the pot, so we're cool with equity, and there's a chance we'll take it down right there /

gah I misread the post - I thought we were betting into four guys, when there are four including the hero. Yeah it's sort of questionable. I still don't mind it though

Question of mine as well, given the flop texture.
