Blood, Sweat and Tears

Last hand I sweated a 2+2er he had pocket kings and the flop came with two 6s to match the other two his opponent had in his hand. The previous time I had sweated that same 2+2er he had black pocket aces and the flop came A-6-3 with two hearts. All checked to him, he bet, and got 3 callers. Turn was the jack of hearts, his 3 opponents checked, he bet, and he got just one caller. River was a 4th heart and his opponent bet. The 2+2er turned to me and said, "You suck."

He was, of course, correct, and he called and, of course, he finished a close second to his opponent's 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

So today I sweat another 2+2er for one hand. There are a bunch of players, Commerce-style, for 2 bets and he calls with red pocket fours in the big blind. I tell him I'm going to win the hand for him.

Flop comes Q-J-T with 2 clubs.

I quietly go back to my game.
