Compuer Upgrade for Poker Reasons...

As of right now, I have an Athlon XP 1800, with 768 MB RAM.


When playing 8 tables (with PV and PT) my computer lags. On top of that, PV sometimes locks up.

I was told that I should upgrade my PC.


So, as such, I am going buy a 3000 XP processor tonight.

Do you think this will be enough, or should I up the RAM as well?

Looks like it should be fine. Just make sure the CPU is compatible with your motherboard. With that big of an upgrade you will most likely need to at least flash your bios.
