Live 4/8 Black Queens in the CO, you thought .5/1players were bad?

I decided to take a break from the online game and sitdown in a very good 4/8 game. featuring 8players who would prob rank in the top25 worst players I've ever played against

Its 9handed, 7players are LPP all play 60% or more of their hands, coldcall very often, all pots are 4handed, many 6-8handed(~40-50%ish)

the 8th player besides me is a maniac, he has played every hand for the past 2hrs, raising 50-60% or so, and 3betting most raises from other ppl .. the table doesn't play back at him at all

his postflop play is a little more controlled, but still very aggro, just he won't go 4bets each street with J6o(maybe on the flop), anypair/draw prob go crazy with .. he views me as a tight/solid player .. but doesn't seem to alter his play against me

I get black Queens in the CO, 4limpers to me, I raise, button coldcalls, maniac(SB) re-raises, bbcalls2, 2limpers call, I cap, everybody calls

6players to the flop (26SB)

Maniac bets in the dark, called around to me, I raise, button folds, Maniac 3bets, bb and limpers all fold, I cap, Maniac calls

I was seriously amazed to see the limpers all fold, they had been calling flop raises/3bets a lot of the time

HU to the turn 18.5BB, there is no cap on betting HU

Maniac checks, I bet, He check/raises, I 3bet, he 4bets before I get my 3bet stacked off, I 5bet, he calls

he bets in the dark on the river [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] 29.5BB after his river bet

River: is not a royal diamond, A, K or 5 I forgot which card it was .. but it couldn't have made a better hand

I raise, he says you better have pocket aces, so I assume he has Q5, or A5, he 3bets, I 4bet, he flips his hand over, I thought he said raise I was getting a 6bet ready ... but he just called

Final pot: 36.5BB .. biggest pot I've ever had

what does he have?

75% it's KK.

I think i mistated his postflop play a little

he doesn't go 4bets on flop,turn, river with say Jhigh .. but will with pretty much anypair, and really likes backdoor draws(he's complained about missing OESD 3-4times, all of them were bd draws)

he's a huge fan of straddles, and betting in the dark, regardless of previous action .. he's kinda a nuisance in that if he isn't at the table its me and 7very very bad passive players ... but its almost impossible to isolate him, which sucks as well

I laughed and spent the next 2hands stacking the chips up, which got me back in the positive, after being stuck 25BB before the hand
