How terrible is my head-up play? From $11 SNG at PartyPoker. Villain had been playing pretty solid. So that was my read going into HU; a strong bet from him usually meant a strong hand. I tried to play aggressive. But I got outplayed, no? I just feel totally uncomfortable HU.

Lol. My opponent said much the same thing, that he'd never seen anyone get so lucky heads up. He nonetheless graciously said "gg." All I can say is that I've been on the opposite side of that coin before. So maybe things do tend to even out over time.

My opinion, heads up is a lot of luck. most of the preflop all ins the worse hand still has a 35-40% chance of winning, thats a fair amount in my opinion. When blinds are big I push pretty much every face card. I find people who just keep folding and then i have 6500-1500 go ahead and wait for your "good" hand because then its even better when it loses with my j5. In summary I really dont think you played this hu that bad, its fine. Whenever you are in doubt preflop my theory is push.
