88 from the BB, I think I\'m spewing
I'm thinking I should have laid it down to the turn raise... maybe? This situation had me a bit baffled.

Re: 88 from the BB, I think I\'m spewing
The K is an ok card for you, it makes it more likely you're ahead. It's worth calling down. I don't think I'd raise the river.
Edit: I saw a post that said check the turn and call a river bet, but it disappeared. Anyway, I'd rather give overcards, something like AT, a chance to fold. And I'd hate to see a river ace. |

Re: 88 from the BB, I think I\'m spewing
I play it the same, with raising the river being a slight possibility...
Edit: Nevermind, no raise on the river. You really don't want to have to fold to a 3 bet, which would definitely be correct if it happened. I'm showing down here every time, though. |

Re: 88 from the BB, I think I\'m spewing
If it was a different broadway on the turn, I'd likely fold to a c/r. But in this case, I'd play it the same way.

Re: 88 from the BB, I think I\'m spewing
How many kings check-call this flop on a steal with a K in their hand?
A: None. I like it all, might raise the river. |
