Default Top pair vs a gambler

Villain is a gambler- 55/11/.68 over 120 hands, no other reads.

Would u throw a raise in anywhere or call this down, fold anywhere perhaps???

55/11 for villian? Raise the flop. Villian could have almost anything and i'm guessing that you have the best hand here. But alas, your hand is still vulnerable. You need to put villian in his place.

Bet the flop hoping to trap MP1 for a raise. Keep going till an overcard hits, then slow down.

I like check/raising the flop rather than betting out to trap MP1. It's more important to try and fold overcards and get it heads up than to try and build a pot here IMO.

If you c/r and fold MP1, then lead the turn, you might win the pot right there.
