Default an interesting flop play with JJ on the blind

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls, CO folds, Button calls.
Safe board. My plan is to check-raise. Unfortunately, EP bets and gets many callers. I cannot raise to protect, I can only call and hope I can check-raise the turn. Luckily, LP bet allowing me to make a meaningful raise, knocking out two opponents, AND build a big pot.

Turn: (13 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP2 calls, Button calls.

River: (16 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Final Pot: 19 BB

I'd rather just bet/3bet the flop for value. This is about as safe a flop as you can get. Even if it's checked to someone in late position and they decide to bet, you're still giving people at least 7.5:1 on a call.
