about ipods
i always hear people saying they are dying for a way to transfer songs from ipod to computer, and then someone else says oh just use this program.
but why don't you just open up the ipod from your My Computer joint and then grab them from there? that's what i do. i don't get it |

Re: about ipods
On a related note...maybe I'm stupid, but it seems when I delete songs from my ipod using itunes, nothing is removed. The ipod is plugged in to the cpu. Any ideas?

Re: about ipods
Daryn,
When you drag and drop the programs, what file do you put them in? Is there any problem with duplicates? |

Re: about ipods
what programs?
what i do is go to my computer, then the ipod itself, then i find the files in folders and drag them right into itunes, which copies the files into the itunes music folder. |

Re: about ipods
Because when I go to My Computer, I can't see the music files stored in my iPod's music library.

but i can. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I edited my post to reflect that I realized from your post you were implying that you can in fact do this. I can't. |

Re: about ipods
I did this but the files don't seem to organized in a nice way. So I would guess that people use programs like ephpod because they make going through the library easy.
