Decent Top Pair on Draw Heavy Board
SB is loose passive.
Button is passive preflop, but is aggressive postflop in the 25 hands I've played against him. Haven't noticed anything unusual as he hasn't had to show down enough hands for me to feel comfortable. Re: Decent Top Pair on Draw Heavy Board
I would 3 bet flop - if SB/button caps I will call down with this drawy board.
if both call I will fold easy to a turn bet. |

Re: Decent Top Pair on Draw Heavy Board
I think the flop was played well. You can't protect your hand by 3betting here (and you might not even be ahead), so waiting for a blank turn seems to be the play.
You got the blank and button raised again. Hmm. This one is tougher. Without a read I want to at least see the river and then I can't imagine folding unless SB wakes up. Button could have a hand like 98, T9, 87, some sort of pair with a flush draw, or flush draw with a gutshot that he might play this way. |
