Default Hand Review Please, Live Tourney

This is a daily tourney at the local dog track, normally 100 people but on Saturday it's 150. $45 buy-in for T700 and 20 minute rounds starting at 10/15. Top 18 paid, 18-10 $70 and 1st $1500.

Round 4 with blinds at 50/100.

Table folds to me on the Button and I raise to T300 with QTo. The SB folds and the BB pushes for an extra T800 to me. It would cost me 1/2 my stack to call.

I'd been moved to the table during the last round, so no real reads. But I hadn't seen him get out of line.

Call or fold?

This is a clear fold. If 800 is half your stack then you had 1600 left after your opening raise? You would still have plently of chips in relation to the blinds and you are not getting quite the right price. 650(blinds+your raise)+800(his all)= 1450 and you have to call 800 more so you arent even getting 2 to 1. I would want more like 2.5 to 1 and more chips to make this call.

I'd fold. If you had a big stack then I think a call is in order but I wouldn't call knowing that I was behind and risk half my stack.
