Default fantasy baseball question . . .

Big 9x9 league. . .
hitting categories are:

1b 2b 3b Hr R RBI SB K AVG

start 2 players at every position. . . i could use some power (HR, 2B, RBI). does anyone consider the following:

Pujols for Konerko and Sexson . . . my other first baseman are T. Clark (needed somebody for now) Ken Harvey, just about to resume playing, and Jason Giambi (will he ever hit again?)

You'd be insane to make this trade.

Is there anyone on the waiver wire that could help over Tony Clark? And by big do you mean over 12 people?

If you do this trade you will be getting Konerko (30 HR, 20 2B, 100 RBI) and Sexson (35 HR, 26 2B, 115 RBI) versus Pujols (40 HR, 50 2B, 125 RBI) plus your fill in spot (15-20HR, 20 2B, 75 RBI)

That comes out to 65 HR, 46 2B, 215 RBI vs 55 HR, 70 2B, 200 RBI. You want come out ahead with 2B so you would be only benefiting a little from HR and RBI. Is that really worth it to trade arguably the best in fantasy baseball? If its a keeper league I would say hell no.

Try to find a more servicable 1B in replace of TOny Clark or Giambi rather than make this trade.

Pujols and Giambi is is better than Konerko and Sexson. You would only do a trade like this if you had absolutely nobody to put in the 2nd 1b spot.

Pujols for Konerko and Sexson

Quite possibly the worst trade offer I've seen since I was offered Tony Womack and Juan Uribe for Brian Roberts.

sweet, my initial reaction was hell no, but just wanted to see if i was overlooking something. . . as far as the league goes. . .13 owners, 44 man roster. so, no there's no one other than tony clark out there (Olmedo Saenz is pretty close, i guess.)
