Cap. If he happens to have T9 then that's just how it goes.

I'm putting him on a set or something like QJs on the turn because T9, even suited doesn't even make sense for a tight player to have there. Let me just make this story short. He had T9 o and I thought that was really interesting. That PF call doesn't even remotely seem to fit his stats... I guess sometimes we get too ridged in our range of hands based on what we have. |

Re: KK hit set on the river and villain 3 bets my c/r
How could this not be a cap with top set and no flush possibility? I seriously doubt he raised the turn with AT. In fact, there are many lesser hands with which he could have called in the BB and that he now thinks are good, such as QJ, KQ, AQ, 88, 55, etc.
If he has T9 then good for him. |

Didn't think he would bluff raise the turn with AT. I think I need to be a bit more flexible with my ranges. |

I should have just said "how much would you lose if no cap?" [/ QUOTE ] If there was no cap, I might be more hesitant about four-betting, since I would hate to have to face a five-bet, since a five-bet would likely mean that my opponent had no worse than a set of queens, but more likely than not the straight. |

Re: KK hit set on the river and villain 3 bets my c/r
Not being result-oriented, but I just call the river 3-bet. A straight has already been out there, and a flopped 2-pair is most likely not 3-betting when the K falls on the river and you show such a strong move. A hand like QK/JK rarely if ever plays the flop and turn this way. QQ/JJ is 3-betting preflop, which basically leaves 88 and a FAR-less likely 55 as the hands you beat.
Just noticed this is 2/4 so a cap may not be necessarily incorrect, but I would not be too confident either way. |

I think you have to cap. Like someone else said this is a call if there is no cap.
