I think I'm horrible in these situations. Preflop raise didn't buy the button which screws things up a tad. What do you put him on? What kind of reads do you have? KQ? A/Q? He surely would re-riase with AK. Would he try to buy this pot? I bet turn and fold to a re-raise. Bet river.

If you're going to call a bet on the river anyway, why not bet and fold to a raise? Don't allow a free showdown.

Reads would help a lot here. I am betting this river since you are calling a bet anyway, and will extract bets from weaker hands.

If you do bet the river and get raised, is it an automatic fold? I guess it would depend on your read, and the size of the pot. How large of a pot would it need to be to call a raise in this situation?

the reason that we fold this river is because only hands that beat us will raise, so we can extract from the times that we're ahead, and fold for the time that we're behind. A river raise will fully indicate that we are beat
