Friends, Physical Affection

NO, I am not talking about lesbians, perverts please leave this thread now. I am talking about male friend physical affection and hugging. It seems like in other countries male friends hug each other a lot more than here, in China in particular I noticed this was true. Grown ups goofed around a lot and for instance were playing piggy back with each other and just being very friendly which I thought was cool.

In the US that doesn't happen so much, maybe just in my social circle though, which I find quite regrettable, touch is a good sensation. What are you guys's thoughts on this subject?

Wow, its like I just stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the ninth in game 7 of the world series with the bases loaded and down by 1 run, and instead of facing randy johnson they pull out a tee for me to hit the ball off of.

I'm just going to try to fend of the barrage of "stick it in..." comments and teletubby pics now by saying that calling this post gay is just way too easy, and therefore not very creative or funny. That said, I still find this post very odd. Bruiser, next time I see you, I'll give you a hug.

I give my good friends the handshake hug combo all the time. And when I'm sloppy drunk I'll give 'em a good old bear hug. I have no problem with this and I do it very often. Give me some Bacardi and I'll even give them a bite on the shoulder. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

i hug my male freinds, am not afraid to tough them or let them touch me, etc.... i am baffled by people that are so homophobic that they're afraid to do anymore than shake hands.

of course, this is one of the most hompophobic groups of people that i've ever associated with, so i assume my response won't be the norm.
