Default Empire Going public?

It may explain some of what is going on. The more profitable it is, the higher the stock value will be at offering.

Since the deal was announced, shares in the group have more than doubled, and the company’s valuation is just shy of £1 billion.

I know Party's IPO has been talked about a bit, but I don't think anyone has posted this link from the Guardian. It gives a good recap of everything. Simply amazing. I wonder how long until an ADR can be floated in the US.

i wish SOMEONE could come here and tell us how to get in on a UK ipo. i have no idea if yanks are even allowed to directly buy at the offering.

if these were us market ipo's, we would all be scrambling and sending our brokers bottles of champagne to get us in on any amount of shares we could get.

Everyone who got banned should e-mail the UK's equivalent of the SEC and tell them Empire falsely accused them of cheating and refused to provide any evidence.

wow, never saw that one.

i think party and empire would have to do this together, no? maybe not. seems like one can remain private i guess.

i think this definitely explains all the recent enforcement.

On a somewhat related note, do you think that with both Party and Empire floating, regulators will be too keen on people having multiple accounts, either at different skins or all at one skin? I can see the T&C being more strictly interpreted in the future.
