Default california casino tournaments

are there any casinos in southern california that host no limit tournaments similar to internet tournament structures? i am frustrated with how fast the levels increase relative to the blind size which favors early aggression:

2500 chips, 15 minute levels, 25/50, blinds double every level

if im not aggressive during the first hour by the time the 4th level arrives im severely crippled. ive had some success but its the early rounds of these tournaments that determine how i will fair. are there any casino tournaments whose structures are not as fast?

No, unless you move up to the higher buy in tournaments. The $200 and $300 tournaments at Commerce are generally 40-45 minute levels with a flater blind increase structure.

Not sure about their weekly tournaments, but those may have a decent structure as well.

The $100 tournaments at Bike have become a rip with 20 minute limits. I made the final table of one in November and went from the low stack to chip leader within 3 hands. We finally had a 9 way chop when the lowest stack had $21K in chips and I had the chip lead with $42K. Blinds were $3,000-6,000. So one set of blinds was 1/4 to 1/2 of everyones stack. Dumb, dumb, dumb. And there were people who were upset about a chip deal(everyone got $2200-3400)
