Most are mediocre players as far as good players go...yes? This is my conclusion after seeing the terrible advice given in this forum day after day.

isn't the point of posting here to learn?
not everyone knows everything about every situation, so obviously there will be posts with incorrect ideas or suggestions...hopefully the posts with incorrect ideas will be corrected and the concepts will be taught to those that were misinformed or didn't understand something...

Hey all i'm saying is that a lot of the suggestions here seem way too aggressive, advice calling down when it's obvious you're beaten, etc.

i.e. it seems like there is posts with a lot of one-sided ways on how to play a hand, oversimplying poker and not treating it as the complex, completely situational game that it is. In fact, it seems like some of the advice given is not the best on purpose...

Online poker is rigged and we are all part of the conspiracy and we're out to get you.

Give me a break, I rarely use the advice given here anyways so whether there is a "conspiracy" or not I really don't care. A typical example is:

"Your maths very wrong.

I cap TT preflop everytime."

from http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...4&fpart=1.

You're telling me this is good advice?? Sure you get the occasional "this is bad" or whatever but most of the time I just see "i'd play it the same," "i'd go into calldown mode," etc. when there's clearly a different play which may possibly could be better which never gets brought up.

Your sample size is too small, and by sample size I mean penis. Go away, and by go away I mean go kill yourself.
