Default AK hand from 11R...25K guarantee....

Villain in hand here was a major LAG.

I saw him reraise from MP with 78s against a tight player who opened from UTG knowing they had odds to call.

Came over the top all in behind a raise and reraise all in with33's.

Was stealing 3x an orbit when he had a big stack earlier.

On to the hand here. We both have fairly equal stacks in top 10 in chips with about 50 to go out of 1000 runners.

Sorry convertor not working.

Call and take a flop. Considering your read, his 2XBB raise is actually a bit concerning. If he's the LAG he appears to be, he'll end up putting his chips in for you post-flop anyway.

Your deep chip stack makes this a tough call. Normally, with an average stack, I just come over the top allin against an aggressive blindstealer here. However, getting all the chips in with your stack isn't very wise. A reraise against a LAG pretty much will put you in the same situation if he has anything. The good thing about a call is it can help disguise the strength of your hand.

So, it really depends on how much respect you think he has for you. If you think he'll call or lay down to your reraise, I'd reraise to 50k. If you think he's so LAGgish that he'll either fold or push if you reraise, then I'd call and play the flop.

I would usually reraise to about 50k, but you deep stack does make it hard to risk so much.

I call and take a flop here. You don't want to be allin with your big stack in what's very likely a race, but I am willing to risk my whole stack on this hand if an A or a K flops. If one doesn't, I'll play back at the LAG later and fold.

It's folded to him in the CO and he raises to a bit less than 3xbb. Even with no read, this looks like a steal, but against someone who has been stealing 3x/orbit...

I don't like giving he a free look at the flop, tough decision though. If he is laggy post-flop, how do you play if you raise to 50k, get called, and don't hit - bet out half pot and then quit? There really isn't a lot of room to maneuver with 200k stacks and a 100k pot.

I think if it was me, I'd probably push. If he's really a LAG, he might put you on a re-steal and call with a dominated hand, otherwise he either calls and it's a race, or folds, which is fine too.

My advice isn't worth much though, I guess it depends on whether you are comfortable racing with that stack.

Looking at the results, the final pot must have been small, and Mr. LAG went on to win the whole match.
Kudos on 7th though.

Well I put him on a steal and decided I'm winning this pot right here since I was pretty sure he had respect for me. We had been playing together for quite a while.

I reraised here to 60K figuring with both of our stacks he's not calling without a monster and my reraise rerpresents a big pair.

Villain Pushed before my chips could even hit the middle.

Does anyone call here or is this an easy laydown?

I hate the reraise, this is push or call vs a lag. I call his push though, he has been so aggro, he must expect people to play back at him with a lot less than AK.

Personally, I push this PF. Even though taking a flop is appealing, I miss 2/3 of flops vs a LAG who could have any 2 here. Just take the pot down now and show him you wont be pushed around .

I probably fold, although there are merits for calling. In this event you pretty much need to come in the top few spots to win significant money and you probably are in a coin flip situation so I might be tempted to gamble and with the raising prior to his push you are getting an overlay.

If I fold the next time I play back at him I push. I want to be the aggressor and put him in your present spot.
