The following chat took place at a table I was playing on today on Party. I've edited out hand results and most of the comments from other players.
As you can probably tell, sometimes I get kind of bored while I'm playing. Railbird: can anyone help me out and lend me $50 til i get home friday...if its that much of a hassle ill pay you back an extra $25 as soon as i get home bdk3clash: Sure--how do I pay you? Railbird: if i could send u 25, i would be playing Railbird: i cant deposit untill friday bdk3clash: What? I thought that's how it worked. Railbird: my cc is in my dorm room Railbird: noo....u send me 50....then i get home..i send u 75 back bdk3clash: But if you send me $25 first then I'll owe you $25 but you'll owe me $50 so you'll be $75 ahead! (Is my math right?) Railbird: yea but if i had 25 bucks in my account then i would be playing Railbird: i just have no way to deposit untill i get home bdk3clash: OK, I'll send the $50. Railbird: ull make 25 bucks on friday evening Railbird: aright....tell me when u need to know my name bdk3clash: As soon as you send me the $25. Railbird: i cant send u the 25 untill friday bdk3clash: Oh, OK. I got it. Railbird: so can yu help me> bdk3clash: You send me $25 on Friday, THEN I send you the $50. Railbird: well once i get home i wont need ur help Railbird: i can just deposit and play with my own money Railbird: i only need ur help because im bored and at my relatives Railbird: so if ur gona send me 50 now thats great if not thanks bdk3clash: Wait. PLAY with your own money? Why do that when I'm literally going to GIVE you $50? Railbird: because im not a lowlife Railbird: i just want to play now Railbird: and i pay u back friday Railbird: look buddy, u gonna help me out or not? bdk3clash: Wait--start from the beginning again, but put the money in British pounds (my account is in British pounds, not dollars.) Player: Well, that was entertaining. "Mm slowly" was the highlight. bdk3clash: Thanks, I was wondering how long it would be before he gave up.
