Default 1st trip to backroom B&M

Exciting.....the back of the old bingo hall has a secret room run by a fat asian guy named "buddha". You use those little UPC keychain scanner cards to get in. Never knew what to expect but had a good time. They had 6-8 tables and I played 3/6/12. They players there seem worse than the ones on the internet (if that is at all possible). Very fishy. I will need to return to recover the 20 BB I dropped. The hardest thing was trying to keep a running count on the pot size.

It seemed like there was alot of time between hands for me so I had alot to focus on. Fun time. Much older crowd than I had expected. Around here I feel like the oldest. All these 20 yr old college students. At this place I felt like a spring chicken. A bunch of 50-60 year olds chasing 5 outers.

Sounds cool.

I wish I could find out about games like this around here if they exist...

How do you go about finding these underground games?

Does getting lung cancer from second hand smoke in a B&M count towards lowering my EV in the cardroom?

You'd be hard pressed to find a smoking room these days although some are still around. The vast majority are non smoking.

You're in the Chicago area, right? Best bet would probably be to hang around the Indiana Casinos or the Rockford game and ask people. There is one I know about but it was busted about a year ago, so I doubt I'd go there.

Acutally this is good advice. Last time I was at Rockford a dealer I know was telling me about a game that is the reason the 10/20 doesn't go as often as it used to. I didn't get the details though...
