Default Questions

Am I supposed to follow up with missed overcards?

Am I ever supposed to slowplay?

I'm definetly underusing the check-raise...where would it be good to use it more?

Am I supposed to bet TPNK? What happens if I'm riased?

Fixed from semi-bluff to check-raise

Default Re: Questions

1) Of course, depending on the situation. Overcard outs are outs just like straight draws.

2) Slowplaying is a NL and a high stakes limit thing, not a low stakes concept. Slowplaying against fish is pointless, since they'll probably bet into you anyway. You're not disguising your hand by waiting till the turn.

3) Im not sure how you know you are, but the best place to semi-bluff is heads up with position when you sense weakness, or on the flop/turn to get a free card/showdown. Its very complex to do, and does require experience.

4) Of course you are. You probably have the best hand, if your raised, and throw one right back at them. If they continue, then you should start to worry.

How did you acquire 2000 posts by the way?

TWP..really? I experienced really bad varience and went from 500 to 25, switched back to PS, couldn't focus in 1cent/2cent and decided to give limit a try. I really like it more. I like formulaic stuff.

I also like limit more than NL. The fact that it's formulaic makes it appealing to me, as I can play 4 tables at once without really putting very much effort in at all (I play poker mostly to just chillax while I make money =P).

Not meaning to be a butt here (although I am at times) but "it depends". Grab SSHE and read it as many times as possible, and then read it some more. Welcome to limit.

The best part about limit is the bonus whoring. So easy to clear bonus's with minimal effort.

Another good aspect is the turn/river being a huge factor. I noticed in NL turn/river aren;t as prominent.
