Lorinda's wonderful maxim "Do you need this pot?" has allowed me to avoid some pitfalls and inch closer to survival, I am trying to come up with a definition of when you need a pot, to explain to some newbies.

Here is what I have, when do you think you need a pot?

When you have less than 5BB OR your stack is less than 1/2 of 3rd place's.

When you need a pot, do you push with any two UTG?
