common situation HU,better to bet or cr the flop?
1/2$ 6 handed,guy in this is agressive
hero has K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in utg I bet, fold, fold, button reraises rest fold i call FLOP: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] i check, he bets ,i 2 bet,he 3 bets ,i call what is the best way to play this,if you bet out he may just call if he has less than you,if you check he may bet less than you and you get an extra bet from him with the cr,most wont fold to a cr on flop HU, but if he has better and reraises that is bad, i like Cring as you get a better idea to what he might have,if you bet and he just calls then you dont really know much. also with agressives they may reraise a lesser hand than you and you get more money, with a passive if he reraises the cr you could almost fold if you dont have pot odds to continue, so many options, is there is best line here? |

Typically, with strong holdings heads-up, I like to lead the flop, call a raise, and c/r the turn.

C/R the flop and calling down is fine if he 3-bets. Sometimes I will do the C/C,C/C, bet line here as well.

You are so strong here, that you can afford to do both. If you want to train the button to take your checks seriously, you check-raise. If you want to train the button to take your bets seriously you bet and 3bet.
