Default Head To Head

Who gets the button in head to head ,small blind or large, and is it always the case even if you have to move the button out of sequence to get the button to that person?

IMO the sb *should* be the button headup (cause he has to act first preflop), but party does things a little differently, giving the BB position the whole way.

In a heads-up match, the SB is the button. On party and other ring game sites, the button is the BB. This is because their software cannot adapt to a match becoming HU (and how often does it do that anyways?)
