I never play Stars so this is news to me too.

With the instant HH and 6-max tables Stars is really getting the ball going. Now if they just offered rakeback then people would be migrating in hordes to Stars.

Pity that the NL table pot averages are 1/2 or 1/4 what I see on Party though . . .

PokerStars calculates its avg pot by what the avg pot really is. Party calculates it by what everyone has put in even if the bet was uncalled. All those river bets that go uncalled increase Partys average pot. I'm sure Partys pots are still bigger anyways.

i think they changed that with their last upgrade. either that, or the pots have gotten much smaller recently. it really seemed like overnight the avg pot dropped 30%. howvwer, the play seems the same to me.

I never remember seeing the 6 Max NL tables until recently, but I mostly play limit.

The 6-max "high speed" ones are what attract the most fish and maniacs. When I played Stars, I'd reguarly be at a table with two calling stations, two maniacs and a random 5th. It was quite wonderful.
