Re: \"Official\" WPT Championship Final Table Thread
Ivey's bad relationship with AQ at WPT final tables continues...
Date / Time: 2005-04-24 16:41:00 Title: Phil Ivey v. John Phan Log: Hand 8: Rob Hollink has the button in seat 6, and Phil Ivey comes in for a raise, making it $230,000 from early position. John Phan pushes all in, and Phil Ivey thinks a moment before calling. Ivey has A-Q of hearts, and Phan has K-J offsuit. Phan needs some help to stay alive. The flop comes Kh-9h-5c, and Phan takes the lead, but Ivey can still win with an ace or a heart. The turn card is the jack of spades, and now Ivey needs a ten or any heart to win the hand. The river card is the 2c, and John Phan doubles up through Phil Ivey. |

Re: \"Official\" WPT Championship Final Table Thread
You post seems to lack any information or opinion. Did you just want to see your name on the board?
Anyway, Ivey's AQ adventure continues. He lost 675k to John Phan who doubled-up with KJ when both a King and Jack hit the board. |

Re: \"Official\" WPT Championship Final Table Thread
Hasan Habib is running the table over:
Hand 49: John Phan has the button in seat 5, Hasan Habib raises to $350,000, and John Phan calls. The flop comes Ad-8d-3c, and Habib looks at his cards before checking. Phan bets $150,000, and Habib raises it $300,000 more. Phan counts out chips like he's going to reraise, but then checks his cards and folds. Tuan Le says, "Hasan, you're an animal." Paul Maxfield - $3.3 million (seat 1) Phil Ivey 1.5 million (seat 3) Tuan Le - 1.7 million (seat 4) Rob Hollink 2.0 million (seat 6) John Phan - 3.0 million (seat 5) Hasan Habib - 10.6 million (seat 2) |

Re: \"Official\" WPT Championship Final Table Thread
Tuan Le doubles up. Hollink should be crippled.
Hand 50: Rob Hollink has the button in seat 6, Tuan Le raises to $375,000, Hollink pushes all in, and Tuan Le calls. Hollink shows Qd-10s, and Tuan Le has Ac-Kd. The flop comes 7h-3s-2s, and Tuan Le retains the lead with ace-high. The turn card is the Ah, and Hollink is drawing dead. The last card is a 3, and Tuan Le wins the pot. |

Re: \"Official\" WPT Championship Final Table Thread
Hand 55: John Phan has the button in seat 5, and Hasan Habib raises it to $400,000 in early position, and Phil Ivey pushes all in for $535,000 more. Habib calls, showing the ubiquitous pocket queens, and Phil Ivey is again the underdog with Ac-Js. Deja vu. The flop is 6s-4s-3d, and Phil Ivey still needs help. The turn card is the 7d, and Phil Ivey needs to catch an ace to win or a five to chop the pot. The river card is the Kd, and Phil Ivey is eliminated in sixth place, earning $264,195.
